Cowboy timing belt fitting for dummies

finally got the timing belt done.

im no mechanic so i did thid the cowboy way as i didnt have the proper tools. the 5mm bar and crank pin.

so this is how it got done. tip ex some marks incase anything moved.





put some clamps to keep belt in position as i changed tensioner. i know your thinking what the hell is this boy up too lol.


new tensioner fitted and original timing belt i cut in half. outer half removed.



new timing belt pushed half on





old half of belt cut off and new fully pushed on




so there you go, cowboy timing belt fitting for dummies. nothing moved and everything works as it did before. lol
